The intended use for GU/arm straps 1110, 1111, 1112 and 1120 is to safely fixate and position patient’s upper extremity during surgery and under anesthesia. The GU/arm strap is led under the arm rest and over the upper extremity. The strap must be placed over the middle of the forearm, and the strap must be attached and fastened with the Velcro (hook and loop). When placing and tightening the strap, the medical professional must ensure that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s upper extremity is taken into consideration. The maximum amount of pressure applied to the straps when correctly applied and the velcro hook and loop completely cover each other must not exceed 50 kg. (500 newton).

The intended use for GU/arm straps  1110, 1111, 1112 and 1120 is to safely fixate and position the patient’s lower extremity during surgery and under anesthesia. The GU/arm strap strap is led under the leg support and over the lower extremity. The GU/arm strap must be placed over the middle of the crus, and the strap must be attached and fastened with the Velcro (hook and loop). When placing and tightening the strap, the medical professional must ensure that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s lower extremity is taken into consideration.  The maximum amount of pressure applied to the straps when correctly applied and the velcro hook and loop completely cover each other must not exceed 50 kg. (500 newton).
